Luton – Those Home Struggles Continue To Affect The Hatters

Reviewing our home defeat, on Saturday, against West Bromwich Albion, it is noticeable that our position in the EFL Championship table, is being affected by our home form.

So far this season, Luton Town have played 26 games, 13 at home and 13 away from home, an equal split.

But when you look at how the Hatters have fared, home and away, the difference is remarkable.

Looking at the home form we find:

• Played – 13
• Won – 3
• Lost – 3
• Drawn – 7
• Points – 16

It’s hard to comprehend that fortress Kenilworth Road has only seen Luton Town register 3 victories but witnessed 7 draws.

Indeed, the 13 games have seen Luton Town only accumulate 16 points.

But when you look at the away games, the same 13 games have seen us accumulate 23 points, a strange statistic.

I wonder if any of the other sides, in the EFL Championship, are witnessing a season where their away form is better than their home form?

Can anyone provide the answer?
