Luton – This Play-Off Semi-Final Is Far From Over

It was the most inopportune fixture for the Hatters 14 game unbeaten run to come to an end.

But all is not lost for the Hatters as they contemplate the overcoming a 2-1 deficit, to Sunderland, in the EFL Championship semi-final second leg, on Tuesday evening at Kenilworth Road.

Indeed, with a vociferous home support playing their part I see no reason why the Hatters can’t rise to the occasion and secure that place in the Wembley final come the end of May.

In the first half, at the Stadium of Light, the Hatters were the better team and would have gone into the break leading but for a wonderful strike by Amed Diallo.

The strike seemed to knock the wind out of our sails, and we didn’t look the same team after the break, although we did rally towards the end.

I’m not alone in believing this two-legged tie is far from over, as social media shows:

Exactly, it is, don’t ever give up until the Fat Lady sings!

Yes mh all to play for still. But as my mates up here said an I have to agree a bit.We are one dimensional everybody knows how we are going to be set up an play. They felt that the reason they won was having 3or 4 flair players that do the unexpected an create doubt in defenders minds. And therefore more chances. But even they admit they don’t fancy it coming to us.And holding on.

I agree Chris, we can’t let their flair players have any space at Kenilworth Road, the occasional unpunished tap on their ankles might help!
