Luton – The January Prediction Poll

The month of January is already upon us, and I’d like to take this opportunity to wish you all a Happy New Year.

It is a month that could, also, go some way to defining the outcome of the Hatters 2022/2023 season with Luton scheduled, weather permitting, 4 Championship fixtures, with the games scheduled as below:

• Sunday 1st January – Huddersfield Town (a)
• Saturday 14th January – West Bromwich Albion (h)
• Saturday 21st January – Wigan Athletic (a)
• Saturday 28th January – Cardiff City (h)

As can be seen, 2 of those games are at Kenilworth Road and 2 are on the road.

But the big question is, how do you think the Hatters will fare in those 4 fixtures?

Personally, I’d be very disappointed if we didn’t get 9 points out of the 12 available, courtesy of 3 wins, how about you?

Happy new year to you MD and every luton-town supporters. Too be honest the only game I am not sure of a win is WBA at home they are a good roll and a good manger in who we know well after last season, but I feel it could be a good month for us on the pitch. We need to get some cf in this window young and hungry. Coyh

Well, we’ve already got three of those 12 points and looking at the astute way RE is making good use of those players available I’m going for 10 points. Good to see Elliot Thorpe is coming back to KR. What a disappointing loan period! His confidence will need lifting (plus his physical bulk) but I would like to think he will be a regular starter early next season, although we’ve got such a talented squad now when they’re all fit.
