Professional Career – Middlesbrough, Cardiff, Birmingham City, Stoke City, Crystal Palace (loan), Norwich City, Derby County, Goztepe (Turkey), MK Dons
International Experience – England U21
Facts and Figures:
• Born in Huddersfield but of Grenadian descent.
• As a youngster, Jerome played for Stile Common alongside Anthony Griffith, Fraizer Campbell and Reuben Noble-Lazarus, all of whom have graced the professional game.
• After 73 league games for Cardiff, in which he scored 24 goals, Jerome signed for Birmingham City for an initial fee of £3 million.
• He made his debut for Birmingham, coming on as a second-half substitute, against Colchester United but was sent off after 5 minutes for elbowing an opponent.
• He joined Stoke City, in August 2011 for a reported fee of £4 million.
• Future moves saw Jerome join Norwich City and Stoke City with the fee being reported as £1.5 million on each occasion.
• In August 2013, Jerome fell foul of the FA and was fined £50,000 for breaching betting regulations.
• He made 10 appearances for the England U21 side between 2005 and 2008, but failed to score.
