Luton – That Makes It 13 Points Now

I don’t mind admitting that when the month of October began with a couple of good results, I had hoped we’d be occupying at least a play-off place now.

But, instead, we find ourselves sitting mid-table in 9th position.

Now it’s not the worst position to be in as, with the table being so tight, two good results could see us establish ourselves in the top six.

However, trawling through several social media comments, last night, two (reproduced below) caught my eye:

13 points dropped now from winning positions, not good enough

Now that is a large amount and I wonder if any other Championship side as been so slap dash!

Just imagine if we’d managed to hold on to most of those points, we’d be cruising this division, peering down at the likes of Burnley and Blackburn, just a thought!

But, on the other hand, does anybody know how many points the Hatters have accumulated this season from losing positions, I’d certainly be interested to know!

Can anyone enlighten me?
