Two trips to South Wales, in a very short space of time, have been very productive for the Hatters.

Following on from a win away to Swansea, the Hatters returned to the region to take all three points on offer, against Cardiff, courtesy of goals from Freeman and Osho.

The victory means that Luton Town have taken 7 points from the last 9 available and thoughts of a season similar to last season are back with us.

Comparing the two seasons, at this stage last season Luton had fewer points than they currently have this season and although we, currently, sit 9th in the table, hopes are high we can climb higher when we welcome Wigan Athletic to Kenilworth Road, this Saturday.

Social media was alive with praise for the Hatters, following the win, as the following posts show:

It was a good win, and it wouldn’t be Luton if a few nervous minutes weren’t experienced near the end.

Other posts on social media, picked up on the fact our last two wins have both been on Welsh soil:

Just a shame another Welsh team, Newport County, knocked us out of the Carabao Cup or we would have, apart from Wrexham, have had a clean sweep.

But, following the recent fine spell of form, hopes are high for another great season.

Next stop, Wigan (h), this Saturday.

Morning mh, fine team performance. I thought that we were a little unlucky with there goal horvath’s view was blocked by 2 defenders an sawyers shot was perfect just inside the post horvath probably wouldn’t have got it. I know I’ve been banging on but freeman adds so much to the team I can’t wait till he’s fully fit an lasts 90 minutes then we’ll be a complete midfield.

Great performance, coped with their pressure well and looking much more likely to score when in and around the box… Clark launching every clearance back at them was amusing first half!
I was torn last season on PoTY between Naismith and Bell, good to see him starting this year as he left off, may quietly be our best player at the moment.

  • Chris winter says:

If you have seen the clubs news that they aren’t expecting many ins an 1 possible transfer out don’t be surprised by who it is.

    • Mad Hatter says:

1 in and 2 out on loan I’ve heard

      • Chris winter says:

No I’m talking a about a transfer out mh, not loans of young players that’s common knowledge. But a proper player could possibly leave.

        • Alan says:

Hi Chris, whispers I’ve heard, there have been a bids for a couple….wait & see I guess….meanwhile cracking win last night. Not sure what game morrison was watching “dominated from start to finish” according to him…

          • Chris winter says:

Hi Alan, I’m aware of 1 being seriously considered an the player concerned is happy to go. But it’s about getting a player in first. That’s what I’m being told.

  • Alan says:

Heard one name mentioned on the out going. Bit of a surprise, but understandable if true.

  • Alan says:

Absolutely. Just whispers at the mo….

  • Mick says:

Any names boys or are you all on pain of death for divulging top secret information?

    • Chris winter says:

We’ve said it before if we give to much info we could get our sources in serious trouble an lose our inside source. We aren’t doing anything except trying to give a heads up on possible happenings. Sorry we are never specific we just can’t.

  • jimbo says:

    could it be bradley? COYH.

    • Mick says:

Hope not that would be a loss. Not to mention expensive if Jones has to replace him by tomorrow

      • Alan says:

Sorry no names, I’m too close to blag. Same as chris to much at stake if I let slip. If its gonna happen you have to wait much longer..lol..

    • Steve Bahrain says:

Personal leave and then a McNulty type agreement you are thinking? Hull only have 3 CB options and kids…
Hope you are wrong, would be devastating to lose both him and Naismith and not yet replace the latter…
