The Hatters second fixture of the Easter programme sees them welcome Blackpool to Kenilworth Road.

Following the hard-earned draw, away to Millwall on Good Friday, the Hatters support will be hoping that their side can extend their current unbeaten run with a win against Blackpool who are sat second from bottom in the table.

When we take our usual look at the form of both sides, in the last five EFL Championship games we find that Luton’s is far superior.

The Hatters have taken a commendable 11 points out of the last 15 available courtesy of 3 wins and 2 draws whereas Blackpool have managed just 3 points out of the last 15 courtesy of 1 win and 4 losses, however that win was a 6-1 thumping of Queens Park Rangers, at Bloomfield Road.

Matters have been further complicated, in the Blackpool camp, with the departure by mutual consent of their experienced manager, Mick McCarthy.

It also seems that our visitors have problems on the injury front with Jerry Yates, Shayne Lavery, Gary Madine and Jake Beesley all side-lined.

Indeed, in their 3-1 home defeat, at the hands of Cardiff City on Good Friday, the XI that took to the field of play had only managed a total of 9 goals between them, all season.

But what do the Hatters faithful predict the outcome of this game will be?

Looking at the results of the poll, a massive 87% are confident Luton will win with a further 4% opting for a draw with only 9% predicting a win for a Blackpool side struggling to maintain their EFL Championship status.

My view, I can see a Hatters win, although it might have that familiar 1-0 ring to it.

But how do you see this one panning out?

3-1 Luton, Taylor 1st goal for Hatters, Luton to concede from open play!
(If I can’t pick the winners correctly normally, I may as well fail with the obscure 🤣)

PNE fan here…you should actually batter them, they are by far the worse team to come to Deepdale this season….I’ll predict 3 0 to the Hatters
