A second home win, in the space of five days, has seen the Hatters secure fourth spot in the EFL Championship table.
Both wins were narrow 1-0 victories, but I’m in no way moaning, in fact I’m delighted.
Whereas, just recently, Luton have been winning games with late goals, the victory, against Stoke City, was achieved with an early goal, in the 6th minute, courtesy of a long-range strike from Pelly Ruddock Mpanzu.
The win means that Rob Edwards, in his last 6 EFL Championship games, has steered his charges to 5 wins, now that is promotion form.
It’s no wonder that, on social media, the majority of posts are from Happy Hatters:
Another hard fought 3 points. We played some good football in the 1st half and we saw out the last 20 minutes of the game with ease. Onwards and upwards #COYH

Two 1-0 wins, can’t ask for more than that! 💪

Now I’m not even complaining about the 1-0 wins we’re accumulating, after all George Graham made a career of 1-0 to the Arsenal wins did he not!
As I said earlier, our recent form has lifted Luton to 4th, or as one poster puts it:
Stop it now. I’ve got a nose bleed #LTFC #COYH #Championship

These really are exciting times for Luton fans, a club which has no where near the budget the majority of other EFL Championship sides have, but long may it continue.
Next up, on Tuesday evening, is our FA Cup replay, away to Grimsby Town, please, please, please come back with a win, Southampton and one Nathan Jones awaits us!
