I just could not help it, honestly, I could not, I just had to visit the official Stoke City FC Twitter page to see the reaction to our fine win last night.
And do you know what, they are a real down in the dumps lot!
But lurking among the many posts asking for their manager, and coaching staff, to be axed, I found a couple of social media posts that annoyed me:

Losing to THEM and BEATING TEAMS LIKE LUTON, just who do they think they are?
Do they seriously believe they have a divine right to beat sides they believe are smaller than them?
What’s it based on, the antics of Stanley Matthews from years gone by, the fact they once won the League Cup and that they have a penchant, in recent times, for yo-yoing between the Premier League and the Championship?
The sheer arrogance!

Well said. Did you watch the game on I-follow? Their commentary team who I assume are fans constantly whining about their side. Nothing positive. Zero praise for their players.
If they are representative of Stoke’s fan base no wonder the players don’t want to put a shift in for them.
And yes, the arrogance that ‘little Luton’ dare try and win a game at their place.
I also had to listen to their commentary team on ifollow and the bore with the monotone voice at one point said Stoke should be wiping the floor with the likes of Luton ……… NJ certainly ruffled a few feathers upon his return 🙂
