Luton – Problems, Problems Nothing But Problems

Okay, the raft of friendly fixtures are now over, this Saturday the real action starts when Luton welcome Peterborough United to Kenilworth Road.

On paper, Luton Town must be the favourites to beat a Posh side that only climbed out of League One last season, but here at Vital Luton Town we have learned to take nothing for granted.

The idea for the friendly fixture schedule Luton undertook would have been to get the squad match fit and integrate the eight new arrivals from the summer squad revamp.

But nothing is never as easy as it seems, as the Brighton fixture, on Saturday, showed.

These pandemic driven times, allied with the ongoing ‘pingdemic’ means nothing should be taken for granted.

We should be at the stage where we more-or-less know what the starting XI will be, against Peterborough, but I must admit that I am none the wiser when it comes to the complete starting XI.

In fact, I am a little perplexed.

But what are your feelings on the starting XI, on Saturday, who do you feel has done enough, in pre-season, to warrant a start?

Please feel free to have your say in the comment facility beneath this article and we will see if there is a common theme.
