Playing what was, in sporting terms, a dead rubber against Hull City, Rob Edwards had every right to make so many changes.
Indeed, I reckon the gaffer would have made multiple changes last weekend, against Blackburn Rovers, if our opponents were not still involved in the play-off qualifying scenario.
With important play-off fixtures against Sunderland, a side who finished how many points behind us, Edwards clearly had thoughts of resting key players and giving those who may be required in the play-offs some game time.
As a result, we may not have gotten the entertaining finish to the EFL Championship campaign we craved for, but as social media has highlighted, there are numerous positives to take from the game:
Might not be a win but second stringing getting a clean sheet and keeping the unbeaten run going will do me π€

Exactly, the momentum the unbeaten run generates has been kept going, 14 EFL games without a defeat is a tremendous achievement and one everybody at the club should be proud of, but it will count for nothing if we donβt make the top-flight of English football.
And the unbeaten run gets numerous other mentions, some of which can be seen below:

Onwards and upwards lads, our destiny awaits us.
