As February turned into March, I ran an article asking you to predict how four crucial games could shape our season.

The article – the-four-game-challenge – accompanied by a poll, asked you to predict how many points the Hatters would accumulate from the following four games:

• Millwall (h)
• Swansea City (h)
• Sheffield United (a)
• Bristol City (h)

With our poll offering three options:

0-4 points
5-7 points
8-12 points

As it turned out the Hatters accumulated 10 points out of the possible 12 available, a fantastic return that has put us firmly in the running for at least a play-off place and the possible chance of elevation to the top-flight of English football.

But how did the voting go?

Well, it appears 41% had their crystal balls tuned in correctly and went for the 8-12 points whereas 52% didn’t believe we’d do quite so good, going for the 5-7 points option, as for the remaining 7%, those doom and gloom merchants thought we’d get no more than 0-4 points.

My thanks go to all those that participated.
