I love doing articles relating to the ongoing Power Court development, not because I’m mischievous but because they generate a debate.

The last article covering the subject – doubts-about-filling-power-court-raised – questioned, courtesy of some posts left by our fraternity in an article about the demographic of the Luton support – our-demographic-is-live-outside-luton-born-in-luton-51-and-over – it also contained a poll that asked the very pertinent question:

Will Luton Fill Power Court When It Is Built

With 3 answers to choose from:

YES
MAYBE

and

NO

Well, it seems the majority, 69% in this case, reckon we will and chose YES.

As for the remaining 32%, that was split with 20% going for MAYBE and 11% reckoning there will be swathes of empty seats by voting for the NO option.

Naturally, such a subject matter resulted in several proviso’s being met, with the most common being which league we would be in – Premier or Championship.

While others covered the subject of ticket pricing which, hopefully will be consistent with what it is now (plus the obligatory inflation-based increases).

Has anyone else got a Power Court development subject they’d like to see appear as an article, if so just drop me a line in the comment facility beneath this article.

For me power court will increase our fan base being so close to both stations will allow fans from as far away as Bedford an harpenden easy access that saves them using cars an costly car parks. Also improved comfort will hopefully encourage more families.

Can we fill Power Court? Considering no date has been announced for building to start, I’m starting to think like my late Dad it won’t happen. Yes I am in your demographic & I hope the stadium will come to life, it needs to happen. but until it does as a life long hatter I will have to settle for watching youth & pre-season games at the great old ground. I honestly think we could fill Power Court be it Championship or better still Prem league.
