I hoped for, but never dared to expect, that Luton Town could take the maximum nine points available over the festive period.
But take all nine points available is exactly what the Hatters achieved with fine wins over Norwich City (h), Queens Park Rangers (a) and Huddersfield Town (a).
The fact that two of the three fixtures played were away from home makes the achievement even more significant and it is no accident that we’ve now climbed up to fifth in the table and thoughts of securing a play-off place, for the second consecutive season, are now emerging.
Therefore, it also comes as no surprise that social media was awash with compliments about the latest performance:
Superb that . With so many players out too 👌🏻

Indeed, it really does seem to be great times for the Hatters support and who can blame anyone, after those three fine wins, that 2023 could well be our year.
