Next Tuesday Could Be The Busiest Of Nights

It didn’t take long for the two clubs to come to agreement over re-arranging this fixture, did it?

It was only this morning that I was bemoaning the fact the turmoil Cardiff City are currently experiencing made them, as I put it in the article title – they-were-there-for-the-taking-this-coming-saturday – I thought that it would be several weeks before we’d get to play the fixture but, surprise, surprise, it will now be played on Tuesday 31st January, a week today.

Of course, a midweek game does, unfortunately, stop some supporters from attending but, to many, the date is also a special one as it heralds the closing of the January transfer window.

With that being the case and with a game taking place, at Kenilworth Road, could it possibly be the case that any deals, involving Luton Town, will be done and dusted before we focus on taking the three points off Cardiff City?

Or could it be a case that following the final whistle blowing, hopefully signifying a Hatters victory, there will be a flurry of activity behind the scenes, at Kenilworth Road, as last minute deals are finalised?

It certainly promises to be an intriguing evening does it not!
