It would appear that the transfer bonanza, relating to possible new signings, has started at Kenilworth Road.

While we’re all sat waiting for the club to announce the signing of Matt Macey, from Hibernian, as reported by ourselves over the weekend – keeper-deal-moves-closer

it appears another signing has almost snuck under the radar.

According to the Stoke Sentinel, the Hatters have swooped to sign the Stoke City winger, Alfie Doughty.

Doughty, just 22-years-of-age, spent time on loan at Cardiff City last season after his brief career, at Stoke, somewhat stalled.

As is the norm these days, the transfer fee remains undisclosed but, clearly, Nathan Jones and his backroom team believe they have pulled off something of a coup.

But what are your opinions on this latest transfer?

Is it a good deal, bad deal or are you undecided?
