Norwich came from two goals down to end Luton’s 100% start to the season, after a mixture of bad luck and self-destruction haunted the Hatters.

A spectacular 25 yarder from Rowan Vine gave the Town a well deserved half time lead and when substitute Dean Morgan’s slotted home a second it looked like a second away day win for the Hatters.

Hoever, a Foley slip up handed Huckerby the chance to pull one back and then Lee Croft was allowed space to score a somewhat fortunate equaliser and Norwich piled on the pressure.

Luton had seemed to have the game under control with Norwich failing to capitalise on their chances, before a thirteen minute period of madness ended with Marlon Beresford saving from Etuhu but having to watch Earnshaw snap up the winner.

Luton were unfortunate to lose MArkus Heikkinen, Carlos Edwards and Lewis Emanuel through injury, and by the time the match ended Robinson looked to have been in difficulties as well, so nopt only did they squander a two goal advantage, but could possibly have a depleted squad for the visit of Stoke City.

Mike Newell cited the injuries and individual error for the dramatic turnaround, but Norwich looked to have goals in them throughout and it was Luton’s superior finishing that gave them the lead.

Over the 90 minutes, a draw may have been a fairer result but no one said football was a fair mistress!

The Hatters boss Mike Newell has said that he may need to bring in the players he has been seeking sooner rather than later if any of the injuries should prove to be long term.
