After being such a loyal servant at Kenilworth Road whilst also being a prolific scorer, it was with a heavy heart that I bade farewell to Danny Hylton.
However, after seeing his opportunities, at Kenilworth Road, restricted I, like many others, felt that a move to Northampton Town, a drop of two divisions, would see Danny get the first team football he craved and deserved while also getting among the goals again.
Sadly, so far, the move, especially when it comes to goals, has yet to work out for Danny with the striker being restricted to 7 starts with a further 9 appearances from the bench but has failed to score a single goals, yet.
But that competitive spirit continues to be demonstrated with Danny having picked up 3 yellow cards and 1 red card.
Fingers crossed that the second half of the season sees a change in fortune for a player who will always get a warm reception on any future appearances in front of his beloved Luton Town support.
