Luton – It Is Far From All Over

Okay, from next Monday, 19-July, life will have a sense of normality again.

The restrictions we have lived under for the past eighteen months or so will be lifted.

However, the pandemic is far from over.

Those who follow the daily release of the COVID-19 related cases will have noticed that more than 30,000 new cases a day are being reported.

The government seems to have taken a huge gamble, believing the remarkable vaccination programme will keep the number of hospitalisation cases down.

But, in announcing the news, the Prime Minister did urge caution.

With our first EFL Championship game, at home to Peterborough United, not far away and with a capacity crowd expected and hoped for, how does the relaxation of the pandemic restrictions sit with you?

While it will be great to see the Hatters in the flesh again, are you still a little apprehensive?

Do you believe that additional steps need to be taken when it comes to admitting capacity crowds?

Will you, like me, be wearing a mask still?

Should it be necessary to produce proof of vaccination when attending?

It is an interesting subject and one, I hope, will generate a healthy debate.
