Luton In Seventh Heaven

Last night the Hatters extended their unbeaten run to seven games with a fine win at Carrow Road.

A splendid goal from Carlton Morris was enough to give Luton Town the three points on offer and see the team climb, albeit for now, to fourth place in the table but the statistics show that Luton also have a game in hand when it comes to the current Championship leaders, Blackburn Rovers.

With a long-awaited trip to take on Watford, this weekend, the Luton support are certainly buoyant as these posts on social media perfectly illustrate:

Indeed, the local derby can’t come around quick enough, after Watford were relegated, from the Premier League last season, who, back in August would have dreamed we’d be so many places’ head of them in the Championship table.

However, with the table being so tight, we are only too aware that a slip up, against them, could see us drop down the table.

So come on Luton, let’s bury them this weekend and grasp those bragging points.

Morning mh, good to have you back get well soon. I can’t get to excited about our position yet. It’s a long way to go yet. What is impressing me is the strength in depth we have now. The new comers showing they are deserved of first team places. An some who are in their second season improving lansbury finally showing what he’s capable of an Fred if he keeps fit as well. An I know I keep banging my drum but horvath is the missing link his whole game is excellent an distribution excellent. We must do everything possible to keep him!!! Our next feuer.
