The mid-season break is now upon us and our next game, away to Middlesbrough on 10th December, seems an age away.
But, as we prepare for the strangest of mid-season breaks, one thing is preying on my mind.
Now I know football is a game of what ifs and if only, but those lingering thoughts, previously mentioned, were stirred by the following social media comment:
Points shared again. Just one win out of those 7 draws at home and we would be in a play off spot. Home form has to improve surely?

The chap has a point!
I can’t remember, a previous season, when, with eleven home games played, we’ve drawn so many, just look at the list of teams who have come to Kenilworth Road and gone away with a share of the spoils:
• Birmingham City
• Sheffield United
• Coventry City
• Huddersfield Town
• Sunderland
• Reading
• Rotherham United
Like the post says, if we’d have won just one of those games we’d be sitting pretty in the play-offs and if we’d have won two, the word dreamland comes to mind.
