Earlier this week, I felt duly obliged to cover the inference, that surfaced on the internet, that our gaffer could be faced with an awkward decision.
Our article – an-outrageous-suggestion – covered the suggestion by the former Cardiff City player, Greg Halford, that Nathan Jones would be the ideal for for the vacant managerial position a Cardiff City, following the sacking of Mick McCarthy.
My view was that the suggestion could, very quickly, be thrown into the rubbish bin.
However, I was intrigued to discover if my feeling was mirrored by those that visit our site and I used our poll facility to politely ask:
Could Nathan Be Tempted By The Vacant Cardiff City Job?
I only provided two answers, YES and NO as I did not want anybody sitting on the fence.
Thankfully, my thoughts were mirrored with 81% of the opinion voting for the NO option, meaning that Cardiff will not be holding a press conference, any time soon, to announce Nathan as their new boss.
However, the other 19% were not so convinced, opting for the YES option.
Now I know Nathan will not be in the Luton Town hot seat for ever, but barring a disaster, I can see him at least being there for the next few years before a ‘big club’ definitely not Cardiff, might tempt him to move on.

i wonder if he did go,and tried to come back, how would people feel???? i hope he stays, but every person involved with football has to move eventually. i like to think nj is mostly honest, with just a touch of bull#hi# thrown in when needed,as most managers do.i like nj,even though like everybody,i disagree with some decisions he makes.thats football?
