Luton – A Job More Than Well Done

With one game of the 2020 /2021 Championship to go, we are almost at the time when we carry out a deep refection.

But, with that time approaching, I could not help but write this article, after I stumbled upon the following words, from Nathan Jones, on the official Luton Town Twitter site – Click Here.

“If we had said, with one game to go, that we would be on 62 points, guaranteed 12th, every sane Luton fan and person that surrounds this football club would have taken that. I’m sane and would have taken that!”

Those words sum up perfectly what a wonderful season we have had.

Although, here on Vital Luton Town, we have previously mentioned how we could have finished eighth – a-top-eight-finish-is-possible – we have nothing but admiration for the job Nathan has done since coming to the rescue, last season, after Graeme Jones calamitous reign.

Indeed, looking at several social media posts, it appears Luton’s achievements, this season, are appreciated by the support, as the following posts illustrate:

As you would expect, there are more, but those posts above sum things up succinctly.

This strange season of ours finishes this weekend, hopefully, we will get back to some degree of normality for the 2021 / 2022 season, but I wonder what it will hold in store for us?
