Luton – A Hard One To Call

Image for Luton – A Hard One To Call

Just days after seeing their unbeaten run come to an end, at Preston, the Hatters are back in action tonight when they welcome Middlesbrough to Kenilworth Road.

It is a game, that on paper, is hard to call with Luton sitting in 10th place in the Championship table and Middlesbrough in 11th place with both sides having accumulated 21 points.

Looking at recent form, in particular the last five games, we find that Luton have a record that reads: DWDWL (8 points from the last 15 available) while Middlesbrough’s record reads: LWWWL (9 points out of the last 15 available).

But our poll, as voted on by those who frequent Vital Luton Town, believe the Hatters will win with 76% voting for that option, 19% going for a draw and the remaining 5% going for a win for Neil Warnock’s side.

As for Sky Sports, resident Championship expert, David Prutton, he shares my view that it is a hard one to call by going for a 2-2 draw.

But how do you see this one ending?

For those unable to attend the game a Kenilworth Road, please be advised that Sky Sports are showing the game live, let’s hope that we can put on a display and get a result that bucks the poor trend of results when we appear live on the aforementioned station.
