Let Them Eat Cake (Or Burgers)!

At half time yesterday, I doubt anyone inside Kenilworth Road would have anticipated that the Hatters would smash six goals in the second forty-five minutes.

In fact the 156 Hereford United supporters inside the quaint old ground would have been hoping that their side could mount some kind of comeback.

Instead everyone was left stunned by the ferocity of Luton`s second half performance as they emphatically extended their lead at the top of the Skrill Premier.

But fair play to those who run Hereford United Football Club, in the aftermath of the hammering they suffered they asked those 156 supporters who had followed the club to Bedfordshire to hang on to their ticket stubs.

Producing the reference ticket stub at a future home game will entitle the ticket holder to a free pre-match buffet.

It was a nice gesture from a club who, obviously, care about their supporters.
