Just Plain Bored!

I hate this time of the year!

Wimbledon is just around the corner so that means we`re still weeks, nay months, away from the start of the football season.

Weekends, with no football, are as boring as the midweek dirge we all experience in the everyday workplace.

David Martin, who put pen to paper on a new deal, in midweek, seems to be cut from the same cloth as me with the winger remarking in the local media,

“I`m itching to get back to it as I`m so bored already.”

“It`s why you become a footballer because you love playing the game so much.”

“Everyone`s getting their head on and thinking what`s round the corner.”

“It`s a horrible thought as well, and the only good thing is when the games come along, that`s why you enjoy it.”

“You want to get back in the swing of things.”
