Just How Would Luton Town Deal With This Problem?

Okay, as we have reported earlier today, the Hatters will not be playing in front of 1000 spectators this Saturday when we welcome Derby County, to Kenilworth Road, for a Championship fixture.

Our article, published earlier today – luton-support-question-clubs-decision-making-over-yesterdays-press-release – covered the disappointment that having been granted permission to admit 1,000 the Hatters then implied that there was not sufficient time to organise such a monumental task.

But let us take things a little further!

If Luton had agreed, after being granted permission to do so, to admit 1000 supporters, just how would they go about deciding who would be grated a ticket?

Would there be a totally random draw?

Would it be the first 1000 who renewed their season tickets?

Would there be less than 1000 tickets available once the playing staff had been given their share?

Three interesting points, I feel.

But what would be your solution to the quandary?

Is there a solution that would please all?
