With the Friday night fixture giving John Still the opportunity to use Saturday to go scouting for new players, we can`t help pondering over who Still has his eye on.
Still, who is determined to revamp the squad as we prepare for the possible promotion campaign next season, remains very coy when pressed on the subject and has simply remarked to the local media,
“I`m clear on where I want to go.”
“I Know who I want, and if I don`t get that, where know where we`ll go after that.”
“No-one`s coming in (before the end of the season) but we`ve identified some people that we want and we`ll be making inroads in that area in the next week or two.”
“I know the type of players I want so the people that I want have to fall into that category.”
“If I can`t get that, I`ll wait until the one in that category comes along.”
“I`m not going to sign someone just for the space,”
“I`ll sign who I want and if I`ve got to wait for others, I`ll wait another year if they`re under contract.”
Has anyone got any suggestions as to who Still is after?
