This Saturday Luton Town could really pile the pressure on Cambridge United.

With the Hatters 6 points ahead of their main rivals for the solitary automatic promotion spot and with a far superior goal difference and with both teams now having played the same number of games, Luton could go a cracking 9 points clear this weekend.

Whilst Luton Town supporters will be hoping that the Hatters can see off the challenge of Hereford United, at Kenilworth Road, Richard Money`s Cambridge will be pre-occupied with an FA Trophy fixture against Grimsby Town.

In fact Cambridge, if Alfreton beat Aldershot, Cambridge will drop to third place with Alfreton leaping into second. However, thought should be given to the fact that Alfreton have played three games more than both of us.

It`s often said that it is better to have the points in the bag than games in hand, let`s hope that proves the case for Luton Town Football Club this season!
