It’s amazing just how a win can change perspectives.
Before the dramatic late win, at Kenilworth Road, against Derby County, the Hatters chances of avoiding the drop, back into League One, looked slim.
But those three points have given that same support hope that what could, in future years, be deemed as the ‘Year of the Great Escape’ is now a viable option.
The Hatters will arrive at the Hawthorns buoyed by that win and aware that their opponents, managed by Slaven Bilic, are on a run where they haven’t tasted victory in seven games.
Despite being automatic promotion contenders there’s no doubting that the Baggies have hit a dramatic slump in form.
But can the Hatters take advantage?
Can they return back down the motorway this evening with something from the game?
Well, according to our poll, you believe they can with 51% of those who voted going for that option. A further 24% reckon their side will get a draw with only 25% predicting the Hatters will slip back into their losing ways.
