This Saturday, the Hatters make the trip to Priestfield to take on Gillingham in a League One fixture.

Last weekend, the Hatters emphasised just what fine form they are in when they romped to a 5-1 victory against Plymouth Argyle, at Kenilworth Road, a rout that saw them race into a 4-0 half-time lead.

The victory confirmed Luton’s position as potential promotion candidates and the team are now putting an element of daylight between themselves and the clubs beneath the Play-Off places.

However, I’m wise enough to recognise that things, in this game of ours, can change very quickly, a couple of poor performances can see sides plunge down the table and into a spiral that can be hard to get out of.

Hopefully, Nathan Jones will ensure that doesn’t happen to a Hatters squad that are looking to make it back-to-back promotion campaigns.

Ahead of the trip to take on Gillingham we’ve used our poll facility to gauge how those who frequent this site feel the game will end, please take a few seconds to register your vote, it will be gratefully appreciated:
