Two wins and a draw, from the last three games, has given the Hatters seven points out of a possible nine available.
That is promotion form.
However, I’m too long in the tooth to get carried away this early with dreams of another end-of-season celebration and know we’re in for a long, hard season in which anything could happen.
But, it is pleasing to see the Hatters get back on track after a disappointing start to the season where they faced some tough opposition.
At Adams Park, against Wycombe Wanderers, we saw a game that ebbed and flowed with both sides claiming, quite justifiably, they could have taken all three points on offer instead of sharing the spoils.
But isn’t that, sometimes, always the case?
