Just before I turn this PC off and head off towards Kenilworth Road for what promises to be a cracking FA Cup encounter with Northampton Town, I`d like to wish another side, in the first round today, good luck.
You see it`s not often this wonderful county of ours, Bedfordshire, has two representatives in the first round proper, so whilst we might expect to get the vast majority of the press coverage in this county of ours, please spare a few thoughts for plucky Arlesey Town.
The non-league minnows have reached the first round proper for the first time in their history and will be travelling to Salisbury this afternoon.
Wouldn`t it be wonderful for Bedfordshire if we both got through!
