Not that long ago, I ran an article questioning the validity of signing Danny Spiller and Garry Richards.
The pair, signed from Gillingham last summer, didn`t feature last season courtesy of injuries and question marks, about their futures, are being asked over at Kenilworth Road.
John Still, having trimmed the squad ahead of a promotion bid this coming season, has spoken about coming to a mutual agreement with regards to negotiating a departure settlement from Kenilworth Road, considering both players both have a year remaining on their current contracts.
When pressed on the subject by the local media, Still is quoted as having remarked,
“Yes, I think we need to update ourselves on the medical reports we are working with.”
“Once we get them we can see where both players are for next season and we can make a decision.”
It may sound harsh, but I`d get rid, how about you?
