The Hatters have two games left to play as the 2020 / 2021 Championship season approaches its conclusion.
The penultimate game sees Luton welcome Rotherham United to Kenilworth Road in a fixture that had to be re-arranged due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
However, in trying to put together a starting XI consisting of players who have played for both clubs, I need your assistance.
Despite digging deep into my archives, I am unable to find a fourth defender for the back four, can you help?
My XI, desperately in need of a defender, currently looks like this:
• Goalkeeper – Conrad Logan
• Defender – Scott Griffiths
• Defender – Julian Watts
• Defender – POSITION VACANT
• Defender – Johnny Mullins
• Midfielder – Izzy Brown
• Midfielder – Tony Grealish
• Midfielder – John Seasman
• Striker – Rodney Fern
• Striker – Vic Halom
• Striker – Imre Varadi
• Substitute – Danny Hylton
If you can recall a defender that fits the bill, simply drop their name into the comment facility beneath this article.

Morning MH Laurie Sheffield – unfortunately not a defender !
Good call, I can recall Laurie from my early days as a Hatter
Hi mh, at a squeeze I suppose you could have used Peter holmes
Good shout, Graeme Jones syndrome, round peg in a square hole solution lol
Mh – a bit of Total Trivia for you. As we know, Hatters last five League games this season were/are against Reading, Bristol City, Boro, Rotherham and QPR. Our former striker Tony Thorpe played League games for four of them, the exception being Middlesbrough !
It’s amazing how many clubs some players have played for.
I think we played Peter Holmes in every position but goal when he was at Rotherham! I’d forgotten all about Tony Thorpe! When Steve Evans was in charge we used to have a different loan player almost weekly! Looking at your list we’ve shared some good players haven’t we.
Indeed we have, I wonder if there will be more to come in the future!
We have a couple of good youngsters coming through – they are out on loan at present but I think they will – or in my mind, should – get a go in our first team squad next season. So, you never know.
