That Magnificent Support Continues

Forest Green, on Saturday, saw 653 Hatters supporters travel to support their side.

In the first away game of the season, in excess of 900 made the long trip to Southport whilst both our home games have seen us pull in over 6,000 supporters.

Just like in previous seasons, when we`ve languished in this god-forsaken league, our support has been absolutely fantastic and we predict it will continue to be so.

It`s something that those who wear the Hatters shirt have commented on before and with Luton having made an indifferent start to the season, have taken time out to comment on again.

Stepping forward this time is our defender Scott Griffiths who has saluted those who follow the town and also offered thanks for the supporters getting behind the side, remarking to the local media,

“We appreciate it, them coming this distance. It`s not easy to get around the country, I know they lay on coaches, but to get that sort of support was unbelievable.”

“That would be unbelievable support for home teams in this league, to bring that to an away game this far away is absolutely fantastic.”

“I know the fans sometimes do get a bit frustrated with the way we play, but they`ve been fairly patient with us and been fantastic with us. I`m glad we managed to put on a better performance for them.”

It`s our pleasure Scott because one day we`re absolutely certain we`ll be returning from whence we came – the Football League!
