But wouldn`t we all in his shoes?
It appears that John Still ignored medical advice to witness the 7-0 demolition of Hereford on Saturday.
Earlier this season Still was admitted to hospital and he returned this week to have a procedure carried out deemed necessary by his previous visit.
During that previous visit Still missed the 6-0 demolition of Kidderminster prompting the boss to leave hospital a day early to be in charge yesterday.
Talking about his premature discharge, Still had this to say to the media,
“I`m really, really pleased, I might not sound as pleased as I am, but I`ve been in hospital for two days, so I shouldn`t have come.”
“It was a little procedure I had to have and I wasn`t supposed to come out until tonight, but the last time I wasn`t well, one of the things that led up to this operation, we won 6-0 and I didn`t want to miss this one, in case we did.”
“Terry (Harris) and Hak (Hakan Hayrettin) kept telling me we won 6-0, well we won 7-0 today Hak, Terry, because I was here.”
I guess beating Hereford 7-0 did John Still more good than lying in a hospital bed recuperating!
