Regular visitors to Vital Luton Town will be aware that I predicted the Hatters would get four points out of their first three games once the Championship resumed.

Something substantiated by the following article – 50-points-is-my-predicted-finish-total-for-luton-town-but-will-it-be-enough – and I still maintain that 4 points would have been a decent return from what were 3 tough fixtures.

As it turned out we didn’t get 4 we got a magnificent 5, something that Nathan Jones, in his post-match interview, after the Leeds game and as reported by The Luton Today, spoke about, remarking:

“Some might not be happy with five, but Preston at home, a top six side, Swansea are going for promotion, away, and Leeds United, the best side in the league, we’ll take that.

“If someone offered me that, I would have taken it.

“I’d have loved six, loved seven, even nine, but realistically five’s a wonderful, wonderful haul for us.”

It is but is it a points haul that you were content with, or did you perceive Luton would get more from those first three games back?
