Luton – What Could Have Been

It’s the morning after the day before and I’ll admit I’m still feeling down in the dumps.

Before kick-off, yesterday, I had high hopes we would get a rare win, against Queens Park Rangers, and climb to a very respectable 4th position in the Championship table, thereby setting us up nicely for a play-off place.

But it wasn’t to be!

Instead, in a game of two halves, it is Queens Park Rangers that sit in 4th place and the Hatters sit just outside the play-off places in 7th, but still with it all to play for with 10 Championship games to go.

Yesterday, was definitely a game of what could have been, a game that, on reflection, we could easily have won, something that people noted with their social media posts:

Fine margins are what, these days, decide games, here’s hoping that luck is on or side when we welcome Preston North End, to Kenilworth Road, on Wednesday evening.
