The narrow win, over Middlesbrough last night, means that when it comes to the play-offs, our paths will not meet until, if both sides make it, the final at Wembley.
Which is a shame really as I get the impression that those from the north-east quite like our quaint old ground, if social media is anything to go by:
How the hell could that potentially be premier league standard

However, there could be doubts about the context of the last comment, was the chap talking about our ground or the fall to the ground, made by Carlton Morris, for the penalty?
Well, I can confirm it was the former as the post was made before the game kicked off.
As for the last posting, I’ll leave you to offer a comment, or two, about the possibility of that chaps dream coming true:
Probably the worst ground you could ever visit, but who cares when the mighty Boro will be visiting all of the best grounds in the Premiership next season,UTB and all the best to the team and fans this evening, take care and safe journey home

Ungrateful lot really, I thought they’d take great pleasure in making a trip south free from the chemical smog that envelops their own northern residence!

Who Will Be Joining Luton Town And Middlesbrough In The Play-Offs
Not bothered about ground comments it’s our home and in better condition than the dumps they live in all squealer and live on big Mac’s lol.
Can these overpaid EPL Primadonna’s do it on a cold, Tuesday night in Sto… Luton!
Walking out onto the Kenny after a sell out at Old Trafford could be as mentally jarring as the Crazy Gang turning off the hot water taps lol… Might be our 12th man next season at home!
its a shame the northern monkeys have to insult our poor old ground. the best reply is to beat there arses on the pitch. luckily that happened last night. boro have some very skillful players, but we ground out another win. lockyer, nakamba, and berry stood out last night, they do a fantastic job, as do all the team. and the adventure rolls on.COYH.
You can only beat what’s put in front of you. We did that and we’ll do it again.
See what their excuse is when we stuff them at Wembley…..
Any chance of Berry and/ or Freeman getting a proper go in midfield?
