Luton – Well It Made Me Laugh

Now I’m guessing I’m not the only Hatter who has watched the coverage of the EFL Championship Play-Off Final more than once.

I was fortunate that somebody in our household downloaded Sky Sports coverage as it was taking place.

But one aspect of what is an enjoyable, but mammoth, watch continues to bring a smile to my face, no matter how many times it is shown.

It is the moment when the commentary team talk about a Friday night emergency in the Coventry City camp.

It seems that the Coventry flags, all their supporters were given to wave, didn’t comply with the Wembley rules when it came to the maximum of the flag poles.

Apparently, the poles holding the 36000 flags the Coventry City fanes would be given to wave were a couple of inches too long and had to be cut down.

No matter how many times I hear this clip I can’t but help laugh, I visualise some apprentice in a carpentry shop being called into work and having to manually cut a couple of inches off of 36000 flags!

I know, little things please little minds and all that!

So Welsh manager claims Lockyer is in his plans after chat. Funny that as a championship player he was constantly ignored for a place in the team dispite outstanding form.now as a prem player he can be considered hipercritical or what 😖😖😖😖
