Luton scored an impressive victory over Hitchin Town on Wednesday evening with a strong team which included some triallists.

Northern Ireland international Ciaran Toner played for 71 minutes and looked a very strong player leading manager Richard Money suggesting that he would like to sign the player. He looked calm and assured in a midfield role alongside new signing Adam Murray who also looked the part.

Luton won the match 5-1 with goals from Crow, Newton, Drury, Bailey and Gallen.

oner has played for Rochdale, Grimsby Town, Lincoln City, Leyton Orient, and has been on loan at Cambridge United, Peterborough United and Bristol Rovers.

eanwhile triallist Stefan Bailey scored a stunning 30 yard goal and Money said that he would be staying another week. It would seem unlikely that he would want to sign both Toner and Baily, but time will tell.

Hungarian triallist keeper Esterhazy looked nervy and the manager suggested that he was being given some playing time but he is not looking to sign a third keeper at this stage.
