Manager Richard Money laughed at reports that Crawley Town were about to make a bid for Keith Keane. He stated categorically that the Town midfielder was ‘going nowhere’.

He was very disparaging of Crawley’s tactics and scoffed at Crawley manager Steve Evans’ comment in the press that he was about to table a six figure offer for the player.

Money said that he would look forward to receiving a bid of £100000 and a penny, and that Evans need not waste his time unless the first number of the six figure bid was a 9. 🙂

He also revealed that Crawley had enquired about Matthew Barnes-Homer and that he believed that they were just playing mind games, or more correctly spouting utter rubbish.

He ended his tirade with the words, ‘I don’t think Keith Keane wants to play in front of 700!’
