After the FA Cup victory, against Everton, on Saturday, it is back to Premier League action tonight when Brighton visit Kenilworth Road.

Brighton were, of course, our opponents for our first ever Premier League fixture, a game in which we were beaten 4-1, possibly the only game this season where we’ve been defeated so heavily.

Since that day, down on the south coast, the Hatters have evolved as a team and our recent form, and performances, suggests avoiding relegation is a real possibility.

However, Brighton are a dangerous team to play, their boss, Roberto De Zerbi, has assembled a team that plays attacking football.

In my view, it is a game that the Hatters must get something from, a win could, if other results go our way, lift Luton out of the relegation places.

As for the team sheets, with the kick-off fast approaching, we are now able to reveal who has been selected.

Starting with Luton Town:

Continuing with our visitors Brighton and Hove Albion:

As for those officiating, look no further:

Referee – Rob Jones
Assistant Referee – Ian Hussin
Assistant Referee – Wade Smith
Fourth Official – Rebecca Welch
VAR – Peter Bankes
VAR Assistant – Nick Greenhalgh

Fingers crossed our recent good form continues and that we claim the three points on offer.

He’s certainly impressing now Alan. I was a doubter as you know didn’t think he would get to 10 goals so I eat my words the cherry on top was a clean sheet.

  • Alan says:

    Absolutely….

  • Ray says:

Alan I was another doubter. But he’s proved us wrong. I think how Rob has developed the playing style in subtle ways means the front 2 are not so isolated. Anyway a great result.

  • Chris winter says:

Let’s be honest rob now has two midfielders with long range passing ability and that is beginning to bear fruit and the team has grown up.so your right ray.

  • Alan says:

Plus, it’s been the same after every promotion from the conference upwards, that we have struggled early doors. To be honest we all predicted it would a tough season, but my god since the Chelsea defeat we have really arrived. Last night’s result has been on the cards for quite a while as we have created chances previously, bit not scored them. Last night it fell into place. The work rate was immense.
