The Hatters play their first game of 2019 this afternoon when they welcome Barnsley to Kenilworth Road.
It is a game that features two sides looking to climb out of League One and participate in the Championship next season.
The Hatters, on the back of a run of 12 unbeaten games, lie 2nd in the table whilst Barnsley sit in 4th place some six points behind the Hatters with a game in hand.
It is fixtures like this, against tough opposition, that will either make or break the Hatters dream of achieving back-to-back promotions.
Hopefully, having steered his team to seven wins and a draw in the last eight fixtures, Nathan Jones has a plan to gain revenge for the defeat Barnsley inflicted upon his aside, at Oakwell, earlier in the season.
With a large crowd expected at the quaint old ground this afternoon, we are now in a position to bring you the team-sheets to mull over.
