With things being so quiet, courtesy of the international break, on the news front, I’ve started thinking out of the box to keep you entertained and intrigued.
Regular visitors to Vital Luton Town will acknowledge that I’ve a penchant for publishing team lists along the lines of
• They Played for Both
and
• A Luton Town A-B XI
But, for a one off (initially) I’ve gone off on a tangent and come up with an XI that contains Luton Town players who have the name of a place as their surname.
After much deliberation, I’ve come up with the following XI (plus substitute):

Defender – Steve Buckley
Defender – Richard Langley
Defender – Brendan Galloway
Defender – Clarke Carlisle
Midfielder – Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall
Midfielder – Alan Slough
Midfielder – Mark Pembridge

Forward – Stuart Fleetwood
Forward – John Aston
Substitute – Luke Bolton
Now I know there must be several others, in fact I’ve at least another quartet under my hat, but can you suggest anyone else, who has played for Luton Town, that fits the qualifying criteria?
