Luton – Time To Announce A Preference

I know I should not be counting my chickens before they hatch but Luton Town remain in a prime position to, this season, grasp one of the play-off places.

Today, the Hatters are in action against Millwall, at The New Den, in what I’m sure will be a tense encounter, probably settled by the odd goal.

2599 Luton supporters will make the journey to South London, or as my Chelsea supporting mates call it – Bandit Country, for the sold out fixture.

It really is a magnificent turn out and I wish everyone of those making the trip, a safe journey.

Hopefully, our beloved Luton Town will return to leafy Bedfordshire with a result that edges us closer to that aforementioned play-off place.

But, my active mind, is already assessing who we might encounter in the play-offs and, if we are successful, the final at Wembley Stadium.

As the table stands it could be one of several clubs, there are still so many in with a chance, if they have a good finish to the season, of grabbing one of the four places on offer.

But, when it comes to potential opponents, who would you fancy in the two-legged play-off semi-final?

I know who I wouldn’t want to meet!

Watford early in the semis for me if they make it in there… But obvious preference is for them to fall even further into obscurity between then and now.
Don’t fancy the Baggies, on their day the best team we have come up against all season.
