This Saturday, the Hatters play their most meaningful friendly fixture of their pre-season build-up.
After a raft of games against lesser opposition, Luton Town welcome Premier League Brighton and Hove Albion, to Kenilworth Road.
It promises to be an interesting fixture and one that may give us some pointers towards what Nathan Jones starting XI might be for the opening fixture of the 2021/2022 Championship season, against Peterborough United.
As has been the norm, we have rattled our brains and come up with an XI that have worn the shirts of both clubs:
Goalkeeper – Juergen Sommer
Defender – Matthew Upson
Defender – Glen Rea
Defender – Don Shanks
Midfielder – Kevin Nicholls
Midfielder – Tony Grealish
Midfielder – Brian Horton
Midfielder – Danny Wilson
Striker – Aaron Connolly
Striker – Steve Claridge
Striker – Paul Dickov
Substitute – Craig Mackail-Smith
Can you think of anyone else who might improve the starting XI or deserves a mention?
If so, simply drop their name into the comment facility beneath this article.
