When the final whistle brought an end to what was a decent Championship season, for the Hatters, I guess very few of us knew what lay ahead when it came to the summer transfer window.
Okay, we all anticipated that Nathan Jones would make changes to the squad, but little did we know that the revamp would see eight new signings arrive and with the possibility of more to come.
Looking in from the outside, such a massive revamp could turn out to be a major success or a disaster, or perhaps somewhere in between.
But with such a large quantity of new signings now in the Hatters camp, one valued Vital Luton Town contributor, Chris Winter, has come up with an intriguing question.
When it comes to that first game of the 2021/2022 Championship season, against Peterborough United at Kenilworth Road, how many of the new signings will make their Championship debut for the Hatters?
How Many Of The New Signings Will Start v Peterborough?
2-4
5-6
7 or More
And in which positions?

Luton – Another Candidate For Ninth Signing Of The Summer
THE STARTING 11.
NO IDEA.
With so many new players coming in. which players would Nathan Jones be looking to find new clubs for?
that will, I think, become clearer in the next seven days
Boreham 1-0 luton 26 min
strong side selected, hopefully things will improve
Far to many new signings.this could cause frustration with the players who can not get in the team.
Last season we were not far away from being a very good team .Just needed consistency and more high presses.
Just hope Nathan has thought this through.

Boreham 1-1 luton Clark 60 min

CMG goal of the game!
Yep an another by Clark
Still unbeaten but clean sheet record gone!
Got to admit Morrell had his best ever game in a luton shirt. But that wasn’t very hard at all. But I still don’t rate him. Many in front of him before I’d start him. He’s to much of a risk.
Hi Alan, have you heard anything about the goalkeeping situation on your travels?
Hi all, harpenden today, all the talk is on Morrell seems to have had a heart to heart with NJ and big Mick. Not sure which way it went tho…..I’m also hearing Isted looks likely to he staying…
Hi all, I see Walton is about to be released does make you wonder if this is what nj has been waiting for. Personally I am happy to go with slugs shea an isted an don’t see the point of 4 keepers. But what do I know.
can’t see Walton coming to be 3rd choice!
I’m the same chris…..or is slug maybe off ?????
Hi Alan, I don’t see that happening at the moment. But maybe shea fancies more game time. Who knows
