Luton – The December TV Challenge

Image for Luton – The December TV Challenge

I, like I’m sure are so many, am counting the days down until the resumption of the EFL Championship season, with Luton Town taking on Middlesbrough (a).

It’ll be interesting to see how our new gaffer, Rob Edwards, fares in his first game in charge of the Hatters, hopefully it will be with a win.

But Edward’s credentials as the Hatters boss will be given a stern examination this month as the Hatters feature live not once, not twice but thrice on Sky Sports, with the broadcasting giant featuring the following games:

• Sunday 18th December – Millwall (h) 12:00 hours
• Monday 26th December – Norwich City (h) 19:45 hours
• Tuesday 29th December – Queens Park Rangers (a) 18:00 hours

All three are, on paper, difficult games, especially with Luton’s hit and miss form under the live TV spotlight

But, sat here in the editorial chair, I’m hoping we can take at least 6 points out of the 9 available, how about you?

COYH’s

Middlesbrough v Luton Town?

With two of these games being at home and given our home form this season, I think 6 points is being a bit optimistic, I hope, however, you are right MH

I would not like to predict any of the scores or how many points we’ll get. For me I’ll be giving Edwards at least 10 games to see what he’s trying to do with the team an what the performances are like otherwise it’s the sack for him. 😂😂😂😂

with the players we have, and the positive energy in this club, i am hoping for great things. i’m liking the talk of young players being steered towards the first team. best of luck to everybody on the first game back. hope they are refreshed after the little break in dubai. was watching an old match from 2015, a young henry lansbury scored a n own goal, a good header, ? COYH. p.s. who scored for luton in the reading friendly.?
